Optional Tours
Wednesday December 3rd, 2008 – 17:30-20:30
JERUSALEM BY NIGHT We shall tour the beautiful walls of the Old City. We shall be enchanted by the beauty of Jerusalem by night. We will enjoy the numerous possibilities of the city’s night life. We shall observe the many changes that have occurred in the city and the plans for the future.
Continue to our tour in the Western Wall Tunnels, which is a fascinating, unforgettable journey through time. The archeology of the site brings to life everything from Jerusalem's glory during the time of Herod to the Jewish people's longing for Jerusalem throughout the generations.

Thursday December 4th, 2008 – 10:00-13:00
ROMANCE HIDDEN WITH IN ANCIENTLY
The tour will focus upon hostels founded by various Christian groups.
We shall begin our tour in the church of Emanuel which will be followed by a walk through narrow allies leading to the Lebanese- maroon hostel. The Austrian hospice - a hostel that once was a hospital and a monastery. From there we shall proceed along the Via Dolorosa and the Holy Sepulchre up to the Jaffa gate and than back to the hotel.

Friday December 5th, 2008 – 21:00-24:00
A CITY OF LIGHTS
Part of the tour is by car and part on foot. Jerusalem has many lit sites at night which makes the tour unique. We start by a ride to Mt. Scopus to a panorama view of the Old City and modern Jerusalem with its lit sites. We shall drive to Agripas street to see a lit mural depicting the food market. We will visit the dramatic environment of the Russian compound to see the lit house of Sergey and the Trinity Church. We shall take a small walk to the Municipal Square to view the lit walls of the Old City.

Saturday December 6th, 2008 – 10:00-13:00
THE CLASSIC TOUR
Observation point on Mt. Scopus Descent to the along the Mt. of Olives to the Gethsemane Church. Visit Gat Shmanim church and Mt. Zion. Continue walking to the Western Wall. Via Dolorosa –visit the Church of holy Sepulchre- the church contains the last five Stations of the Cross and mount Golgotha, where Christians believe Jesus was crucified, buried and then resurrected. From there we shall leave the Old City through the magic filled lanes of its market to Jaffa gate and its sights.
