call for abstracts
The annual meeting of the Israel Association of Allergy and Clinical Immunology in conjunction with the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immmunology will accept abstracts of original research as well as teaching case reports on all areas of allergy and immunology.
Abstracts will be peer reviewed and ranked in the thematic area selected.
All submitted abstracts will be published in the meeting abstract book. Selected abstracts will be presented during the oral abstract sessions, discussed and critiqued by a pannel of experts in the field. Selected authors will be asked to summarize their findings in the form of an article to be publihed in the Israel Medical Association Journal (IMAJ), special issue.
It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author. Please avoid problems by checking your abstract carefully before sending it.
Instructions for preparing the abstract
1. Abstracts must be written and presented in English.
2. Abstracts should be structured as follows:
- Title: Use a concise title that indicates the content of the abstract. The complete title should be capitalized. It should not exceed 250 characters. Refrain from using abbreviations in the title.
- Authors: Full surname and names for every author must be provided. Do not include degrees or titles. The presenting author should be underlined.
- Affiliations: Each author should be listed by institution, city, state/province and country.
For abstracts with authors with different affiliations, please indicate for each one the number of the corresponding affiliation.
- Text: Should not exceed 250 words.
- Contents should be organized into the following sections: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
- Abbreviations should conform to the style manual for biological journals. Only standard abbreviations may be used without definition. Place non-standard abbreviations in parenthesis after the full word, the first time it appears. Data must be given in units of the international metric system. Drug products should be identified by their generic name only.

Entering of an abstract and it’s publication in the meeting abstract book, entails an agreement to register and attend the meeting.
